We're going to see a whole new Elena when the show returns in mid-March, folks.  And her new attitude is going to leave a lot of her friends concerned.  Stefan and Damon agree that heading back to school is the best thing for Elena and she uses it as an opportunity to rejoin the cheerleading squad.  Caroline is thrilled that her friend is back, but when Elena starts munching on rival cheerleaders that happiness turns to shock.

Meanwhile, Damon and Rebekah decide to continue searching for the cure, while Phoebe Tonkin returns as Hayley when Klaus tries to use her to get some information.
